FRT Postcast Appearance: Open Banking and Beyond

It was my great pleasure to be on the Finance Regulation Technology (FRT) podcast series, hosted by Laurence White. FRT Podcast is a popular podcast published by the Institute of International Finance (IIF), the leading institute that helps the financial services industry and the public sector understand technology-driven trends reshaping the industry.
CSIRO’s Data61 has been the interim host of the Data Standards Body (DSB) https://lnkd.in/gTvEQTE for Australia’s Consumer Data Rights (CDR) regime – covering open banking and other consumer sectors. We have been publishing standards in data, APIs, security profiles and consumer experiences for consent, enabling the initial launch on 1st of July this year.
We discussed the progress of the work, some of the technical challenges and other related digital finance research Data61 is undertaking ranging from #regtech, security, privacy, cross-border data flow to quantum tech, blockchain and the new digital finance CRC bid (http://www.dfcrc.com.au/).
