It was my pleasure to welcome this year’s cohort of 30+ Australian companies selected to engage with CSIRO and experience how to conduct digital and AI innovation. I covered some empirical studies related to the return on investment for SMEs investing in digital technologies, the impact of the new wave of AI with general capabilities and end-to-end solutions, how it is levelling the playing field, and the importance of responsible and safe AI as a competitive advantage for SMEs.
