You know you’re too into your own book when you’re checking rankings like it’s your daily horoscope. Well, the stars aligned, and we’re effectively #3 for AI books globally! Shoutout to everyone who has supported our work! Let’s keep hashtag#ResponsibleAI and AI Safety at the heart of our efforts—it deserves our utmost attention!

Since we are bragging, did you know we have 6 CSIRO’s Data61 researchers (Liming Zhu Jon Whittle Conrad Sanderson Xiwei (Sherry) Xu Zhenchang Xing Prof Didar Zowghi) ranked in the top 20 worldwide for responsible AI on Google Scholar? And our young superstar, Women in AI Asia Pacific (APAC) Trailblazer Award winner, and first author of the book, Qinghua Lu ranks at #34.

And that’s across disciplines from social science to law, and software/AI engineering to AI/ML. Plus, with 2 more Australians in the top 20, that’s a whopping 8 out of 20 (US:6, EU:4, UK:1, India:1). Who says Australia can’t be a global leader in AI? 😀 :-}
