Hat Trick at NSW iAwards

I was thrilled at the NSW iAwards event the other evening – seeing two cybersecurity teams (collaborations between the Cybersecurity CRC, CSIRO’s Data61 and industry/gov partners )named winners and going up to the stage twice with them (although I take no credit for the achievements!). Smart Shield’s anti-phishing technology is an exemplary human-centric machine-learning approach, leveraging human intelligence while explaining the decisions behind ML predictions. Personal Information Factor (PIF) technology explored a new approach to sensitive information protection and contributed to the NSW government’s analysis of COVID19 spread information.
Congratulations to M.A.P. Chamikara Sharif Abuadbba, Ph.D. Mahathir Almashor Ian Oppermann Marthie Grobler Dongxi Liu Surya Nepal Helge Janicke and many others.
