Celebrating Responsible AI Impact Wins

🌟 What a night! 🌟 Many speakers said Women in AI Asia Pacific (APAC) was their favourite AI event of the year, and I couldn’t agree more. Seeing so many dedicated women delivering impactful AI innovations was truly inspiring.

🚀 I’m thrilled to see that four finalists from CSIRO’s Data61 were recognised, with two winning awards! In our eyes, they are all winners!

It was particularly heartening to see Muneera Bano honoured in the AI in Social Good category as a finalist, announced on stage by Qinghua Lu, last year’s Women in AI Trailblazer Award Winner. It’s incredible to witness people not only following Qinghua’s trailblazing work but also creating their own paths in AI diversity and inclusion, where Muneera, together with Prof Didar Zowghi, leads internationally. https://lnkd.in/g3JwsXWU

👏I can also personally attest to Sarah Kaur ’s well-deserved award in the AI in Creative Industries category. AI is significantly impacting and disrupting the creative industry. Sarah’s work on using design to bring responsible AI into the real world makes a positive difference, which is truly inspirational.

Congratulations to all! 🎉 Emma Schleiger Muneera Bano Sarah Vivienne Bentley Sarah Kaur Qinghua Lu Stela SOLAR National AI Centre
