Honoured to be named a finalist at the #AFRAIAwards for our Responsible AI work at CSIRO’s Data61. ๐
It was a fantastic night celebrating Australiaโs vibrant AI community โ and inspiring to see so many collaborators, alumni, and peers leading the charge on impactful AI innovation.
At CSIRO, our ambition is simple: ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ญ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ซ. Just as brakes help cars go faster by enabling control, responsible AI unlocks speed and scale by building trust in deployment.
In many of our projects, we see promising AI systems stall โ not due to lack of potential, but because they struggle with edge cases or canโt consistently meet performance thresholds in sensitive settings. Even when teams improve performance, those gains are often ad hoc, hard to retain, and difficult to generalise.
Thatโs why our work goes beyond just safety โ ๐ข๐ญโ๐ฌ ๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฎ๐ง๐ฅ๐จ๐๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐โ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ฒ. Weโre working with government and industry to bridge the last-mile gap between risk and performance, helping more high-impact AI systems move confidently into the real world.
Letโs talk โ and letโs get it done.
