Talk at Defence’s “Practical Approaches to Responsible AI Workshop”

It’s a pity I missed attending the “Practical Approaches to Responsible AI Workshop” organized by the defence sector in person. CSIRO’s Data61‘s approach to responsible AI emphasizes practical, concrete, and measurable practices and outcomes. In software/system/AI engineering, the goal is always to create a trustworthy whole from less trustworthy parts, rather than focusing solely on making each AI model component trustworthy.

Despite not being there physically, I was pleased to present our methods, best practices, tools, and platforms for responsible AI engineering remotely. Check out the two slides attached to see our work in action!
